Training for the Polar Bear Plunge

Training for the Polar Bear Plunge

We’re ringing in the new year by venturing into the icy waters of Lake Michigan! Tanya, Brian, and Zach have decided to freeze their Fahrenheits off at Waukegan’s 17th annual Polar Bear Plunge. Held on New Year’s Day, our SLS team members’ reason for freezin’ helps provide charitable support to the Special Recreation Services of Northern Lake County. This year’s Plunge may be warmer than others in recent years with an expected temperature of 23˚F.

We caught them training for this frosty endeavor around the office. Check out footage of their training session above, and keep an eye out for photos of the event next week!
