Beko US, Inc.
A subsidiary of Turkish-based global appliance manufacturer Arçelik, Beko U.S. was establishing an American presence for its two energy-efficient Euro-style home appliance brands—Beko and Blomberg. Despite Beko being the leading freestanding appliance brand in Europe and Blomberg earning growing recognition among architects and developers for its compact urban-living appliances, the awareness curve was steep. Street Level Studio’s creative team stepped in, producing strategic marketing and merchandising assets to strengthen Beko’s relationships with distributors and provide tools to showcase its innovations to consumer audiences.
Aligning marketing and branding to US expectations amplified Beko’s brand credibility and strengthened its emerging position as a provider of European engineered and designed appliances for American homes.
After designing and developing aspirational websites for both brands that spoke to American preferences and lifestyles, Street Level Studio helped drive traffic to the sites with an integrated marketing agenda. Deliverables included new photography, full-color catalogs, industry newsletters, educational collateral, merchandising materials, tradeshow support, and signage. A secondary campaign, promoting compact Euro sizes for apartments and condos, reached the builder and architect market, while social media, videos, and blog posts stirred up brand awareness among consumers.
